Our goal is to provide a supportive and educational environment to promote the growth and development of every child. We are a small clinic that is quiet, friendly and focused on the "whole" child.
Each child is evaluated and treated as an individual with goals established to specifically meet their needs. We monitor the needs of your child and address those needs as they change so your child can make consistent and measurable progress. The family is provided with education and shown ways to easily incorporate home activities to ensure their child's success.
Our clinic treats a variety of childhood issues (all not listed) for children birth to 10 years old.

Physical therapy is an intervention often recommended for children who show gross motor movement limitations. The limitation may be secondary to a known cause such as genetics, a complicated birth history or injury. Many times, the limitation is of unknown cause
. A Physical Therapist is able to strengthen, improve motion, balance, coordination, and address equipment needs with the goal of maximizing mobility and function. Therapy is a combination of ongoing assessment, addressing changing needs, modification of direct therapy intervention, modification of the home program and ongoing parent education.
A parent is often the first to notice their child having trouble with things like rolling, sitting or walking. Sometimes it is going up and down stairs, running, being a little "clumsy" or simply not keeping up with children of the same age. It is always best to discuss these concerns with your pediatrician who can provide information on the typical progression of motor skills and assess your child's overall development. Children often show strength in one area and weakness in another which is perfectly "typical". There is a continuum of "typical" development and many children develop within a "window" of time and not always at a specific age point on a chart.
